Africa24 – The Export-Import Bank Afreximbank and the Africa Center officially launched the Global Africa Gateway (formerly Afreximbank Africa Diaspora Centre) on September 23 in New York. The initiative marks the beginning of a five-year partnership aimed at strengthening ties and fostering collaboration among the global African diaspora.
A policy-driven project aimed at bridging the information, opportunity and investment gaps among the global diaspora, the Global Africa Gateway project formerly known as the Afreximbank Africa Diaspora Centre, was officially launched on 23 September 2024 in New York, USA. It is a joint initiative of the African Export-Import Bank Afreximbank and the Dangote Group Africa Centre. Its main objective is to serve as an institutional bridge between Africans and Afro-descendants, thereby improving the flow of Africa-focused information to better exploit economic opportunities.
