
A passionate and committed creative and leader, Akosua Ayim works to ensure her clients engage with their audiences in creative, contemporary, and culturally resonant ways. A native of New Jersey by way of Ghana, West Africa, Akosua earned her B.A. in Economics and French & Francophone Studies from Columbia University. She went on to receive her MBA from the University of Cambridge, UK, where she specialized in Culture, Arts & Media Management.
Akosua’s experience and expertise includes digital campaigns/content curation, branding, strategy and event production to start-ups, cultural institutions and nonprofits, small businesses, and creatives. She has collaborated with clients including A.I.R. Gallery, The Africa Center, DanceNYC and the Soze Agency. Akosua has also been an integral part of building one of Africa’s largest cultural festivals, and currently leads its operations & partnerships.
Akosua’s professional affiliations include the Columbia College Women’s Board, where she served as Vice President from 2021-2024. She is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. For her commitment to true impact and leadership, Akosua has received several prestigious awards including Columbia University’s King’s Crown Leadership Award and Poets & Quant’s MBAs to Watch.
