About Ayofemi

Ayofemi Kirby is a cultural strategist, creative advisor, and founder of ElevenThirtySix Strategies—an insight-driven communications firm guiding leaders of organizations and institutions at the intersection of culture, creativity, and social transformation.

Based between Dakar, Senegal and New York City, Ayofemi is widely recognized for her ability to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives that move audiences and inspire positive social change. With close to two decades of of experience advising cultural leaders, elected officials, and arts organizations, she brings strategic clarity, narrative depth, and a global perspective to every partnership.

Through her ecosystem of ventures—ElevenThirtySix Strategies, The E36 Exchange, and the soon-to-open Galerie 36,—Ayofemi curates ideas, spaces, and structures that elevate creative work and expand cultural impact. She is especially focused on supporting organizations and individuals who center artists, communities of color, and the Global South in their work.

ElevenThirtySix specializes in narrative development, communications architecture, and strategic foresight for those shaping culture, from institutions undergoing transformation to founders building new models of leadership and impact. The E36 Exchange, her member-based insight community, offers curated tools, trend briefings, and high-level cultural analysis for creative thinkers around the world. Galerie 36, opening in summer 2025, is her art and design gallery in Dakar, and serves as the physical manifestation of her vision—elevating African creativity, handmade objects, and intentional design through curated exhibitions, salons, and interiors.

Ayofemi is an authority on creative communications, cultural intelligence, and creativity as a lived practice. She is known for her discerning voice, intuitive strategy, and visionary ability to help others articulate who they are, what they do, and why it matters in a world in flux.

Whether through high-level advisory, intimate community building, or now, curatorial work, Ayofemi helps her clients and collaborators shape the future with clarity, beauty, and intention.
