Through 2020, ElevenThirtySix worked with the Association for a Better New York to create its pro-bono PR agency, that provided strategic communications counsel, capacity building and training, strategy and content development to 50 community-based organizations engaging hard-to-count communities in the 2020 Census. At the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the efforts shifted to being completely online. Through the summer and into the fall, ElevenThirtySix worked with the agency’s clients and the ABNY team to provide 1/1 communications advising, weekly communications guides with talking points and digital content for use by more than 500 stakeholders, monthly webinars based on client needs, and developed customized communications campaigns and digital assets to reach communities of color and immigrant communities across NYC.
