The ElevenThirtySix team worked with the partners of the HueArts NYC initiative on the public launch of the HueArts NYC Map and the release of the initiative’s research report and call for a $100M fund to support New York City’s POC-led arts entities across the five boroughs.
E36 developed the core messages that guided development of media and partner communications materials that included a press release, communications toolkit, and self-recorded videos from advisory board members. We also recommended an Instagram Live conversation on launch day, and a public letter to Mayor Adams calling for his support. Our team also developed a suite of static and motion graphics that organizations were able to customize on Canva to share on their social media platforms to help amplify the launch and share their inclusion on the map.
The HueArts NYC launch was included in ArtNet News, 6sqft, TimeOut NYC, and a number of other NYC-based and arts and culture media.
