Vasilis Onwuaduegbo is a Greek-born Nigerian-American writer, artist, and human rights specialist currently based in Paris. Keen on research, strategy, and advocacy; Vasilis has occupied several roles in organizations concerned with Africa, LGBT issues, immigration, and much more. He is currently a co-Creator at Pride Afrique. In the past, he has worked for The Africa Center in New York, the LGBT Center in Manhattan, Beautiful World Canada in Toronto, and several other organizations focused on the provision of social and cultural services. He obtained his first degree from Indiana University (Indianapolis campus) and now he is in a master’s program at Sciences Po Paris studying Human Rights and Humanitarian Action. Vasilis uses he/him pronouns, but he insists that it shouldn’t be confused with a declaration of gender. He typically operates on the ideology that life can be beautiful and we can always be better.
