Kiana Jackson is a passionate strategic consultant and advisor with more than 10 years working and volunteering in the non-profit, media, and higher education sectors. Utilizing media and technology to improve the quality of life her community with a focus on empowering underserved youth has heavily informed her values and professional experiences.
Kiana works with multiple institutions, primarily in the nonprofit sector, to ensure that they are utilizing and teaching media in a way that will benefit and serve young people of color. She has studied in China and Taiwan to learn how media and technology plays a role in political differences.
Kiana earned her B.A. in Mass Communications with a minor in Political Science from SUNY Cortland and has completed course work in Data Analytics. She has managed social media accounts for film festivals, clothing brands, and the Department of Education public schools.
